If you’re like many of us, you are wondering where February went. Across our network of distributors and suppliers that I have interacted with, there’s a shared sense of busyness and optimism – a fantastic way to begin 2026.
The SAAC board is equally engaged in planning upcoming events and the SAAC Expo. With live events planned for March and beyond – I look forward to connecting with many of you in person. Also, several board members recently visited Long Beach to finalize many of the details at the convention center and partner hotels. We are committed to delivering an exceptional show experience filled with value, enjoyment, and a touch of nostalgia.
Our committees are also making significant contributions to enhance member benefits. The Government Affairs Committee (GAC), for example, plays a vital role in advocating for the promotional products industry throughout California and beyond. As legislative and regulatory environments evolve, the SAAC-GAC’s mission to represent and protect our industry’s interests is more important than ever.
This committee serves as the unified voice for SAAC members, monitoring developments at all levels of government and championing policies that foster sustainable growth and responsible business practices. Our industry contributes over $27 billion nationwide, making it essential that we remain proactive in addressing issues such as product safety, environmental compliance, import/export regulations, taxation, labor policies, and marketing standards.
As always, we welcome new volunteers to join our committees. If you are interested in getting involved, please contact SAAC and we will connect you with the committee that aligns with your interests.
Thank you for your continued support. I look forward to sharing more updates next month.
With gratitude,
Jacque Martin
President
